Venango County Vigil of Hope 2023 is being celebrated on International Overdose Awareness Day on August 31st. The event will take place at the UPMC Magee Women's Specialty Services parking lot at 1310 Liberty Street Franklin, PA from 5:30pm-8:30pm. We will be serving food from Country Grub, creating remembrance posters, and participating in a remembrance walk. We will be having a biodegradable balloon release and open mic for anyone interested in honoring loved ones lost to overdose/ substance use disorder and/or offering words encouragement, strength, and hope.
